Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in English-language writing, marketing, or similar fields. Experience with technical/industry content (engineering, electronics, B2B tech, or similar) strongly preferred.
  • Tools: Proficiency with MailChimp or a similar email marketing platform
  • Attention to detail is critical: You must be able to catch inconsistencies in the written content and in layout and design
  • Familiarity with graphics and a feel for design.
  • HTML newsletter design preferred.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently while collaborating with other stakeholders. Newsletters demand a team effort.
  • Must communicate clearly and confidently in emails and feel comfortable working directly with clients.
  • Collaborates well across time zones. Must be proactive in providing status updates and take initiative when escalation is required.

Responsibilities

  • Build, edit, and optimize newsletter content that promotes client-specific marketing goals, striving for engaging and compelling content presentation.
  • Collect assets from clients to build the newsletters
  • Enforce deadlines in every phase of the process, including asset collection, newsletter creation, client review and approval, and email “send.”
  • Drive the review-and-approval process, working with clients and other EETech stakeholders, enforcing deadlines.
  • Ensure consistent branding, formatting, and layout in newsletter building.
  • Manage timelines to ensure all deliverables meet deadlines and to anticipate pain points in the schedule.
