Our website lived in black and white for years. We finally grabbed a brush. The repaint brings a modern design, dark, light and system modes, and accent colors pulled straight from the Davao City logo — plus a new name to match how we actually work: Webteractive Solutions.
For years, webteractive.co lived in black and white. Not by accident — we liked the discipline of it. Black background, white type, one cool blue when we needed to point at something. It was clean, it was serious, and after a while it was a little like working in a room with the lights half on.
So we grabbed a brush. This post is about the repaint — a brand-new website design that finally lets the color in — and the small-but-not-small change that came with it: we're now Webteractive Solutions.
A repaint, not a renovation
I want to be precise about the word. This is a repaint, not a teardown. The house is the same. Same team, same Tavera Street HQ in Davao City, same people who have been shipping since 2019. What changed is the surface you actually touch — the design, the structure, the feel of the thing.
The old site was built around one line: Webteractive Software Development Services. It was true, but it was only ever half the picture. We've spent years doing development, yes — but also design, content, and ad operations, usually for the same client, usually in the same week. Calling ourselves a "software development services" company quietly hid three of the four things we're good at.
From "Software Development Services" to "Solutions"
The new headline says it straight: Build the product. Ship the campaign. All under one roof.
That's the real shift behind the rename. "Solutions" isn't us reaching for a bigger-sounding word — it's us describing the thing we already do. Four disciplines, one crew:
Development — the product gets built.
Design — it doesn't just work, it looks like it works.
Content — somebody has to make people care about it.
Ad operations — and then somebody has to get it in front of them.
Most studios pick a lane and outsource the rest. We've always done all four in-house, which means you're not stitching together five vendors and praying they talk to each other. That's a solution, not a service line. The name finally matches.
Now with color — and not just any color
Here's the part we had the most fun with. The new design is built in color, and we didn't pull that palette out of a generic brand kit. We pulled it from home.
Webteractive is a Davao City studio. We hail from here, we hire from here, and we're proud of it — so the accent colors across the new site come straight from the Davao City logo. Five of them:
Red
Green
Light blue
Pink
Yellow
If you've ever seen the city's colors out in the wild — on the flag, around Kadayawan, on a jeepney that has clearly seen things — these will feel familiar. That's the point. The site should feel like it comes from somewhere, and that somewhere is Mindanao.
Dark, light, system — and pick your accent
We didn't want to swing from "always dark" to "always loud," so the new site lets you decide how you experience it. There's a theme toggle that cycles through three states:
Dark — for the people who, like us, think a white screen at night is an act of violence.
Light — clean and bright when you want it.
System — just follow whatever your device is already doing, and never think about it again.
And then there's the part I keep playing with: the color schemes. Those five Davao colors aren't just decoration baked into one fixed look — they're selectable accents. Down in the footer you can pick the one you like, and the whole site re-tints around your choice. Want the site in Davao green? Done. Feeling the pink? Go for it. It's a small thing, but it turns the design from "here's our brand" into "here's our brand, now make it yours for a minute." Try it — the switcher's at the bottom of every page.
The same crew, in a sharper studio
Beyond the color, the whole layout got rebuilt to feel like what we actually are: a studio, not a brochure. The new pages are tighter and more honest. We say things like specialists, not generalists pretending, because that's the truth, and the design now has room to say it without shouting.
You'll find the work laid out by discipline, a proper look at the team, the open roles when we're hiring, and the blog you're reading right now — all in a structure that's faster to move through and a lot nicer to look at, whichever mode and color you land on.
Go click around
A repaint only really lands once you've stood inside the room. So head over to webteractive.co, flip between dark and light, and try the Davao color you like best in the footer. It's the same Webteractive you know — just with the lights all the way on, finally in the colors of the city we come from.
Stay connected, stay Webteractive.
